Quarterly Economic Newsletter – Q4

The United States economy probably slowed its growth rate in recent months, though the government shutdown limits our statistical understanding. But we have enough information to see that growth in 2026 will be positive though not as strong as in the first part of 2025. That is likely the case in Oregon and Washington as well.
Ph.D. business economist and senior Forbes contributor, Dr. Bill Conerly, has put together an economic forecast to help us understand what we can expect in the months to come. The views and opinions expressed in this newsletter are those of the writer and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of Bank of the Pacific.
